Nicknamed “the city of a hundred spires” it is actually decorated with over a thousand towers and spires. The picturesque River Vltava runs under thirty bridges and laps at the shores of ten islands and is home to the medieval Charles Bridge, with its Baroque statues. Prague is unique in being relatively untouched by the turmoil of the 20th century and offers architectural treasures such as Romanesque chapels and cellars, Gothic cathedrals, Baroque palaces and gardens, worldly Art Nouveau buildings, as well as unique Cubist architecture. Along with the breaktaking views from its almost 200 gardens and parks, the oldest dating from the Middle Ages, it is a place with no parallel in the world.

Once night falls, Prague offers a rich musical nightlife from world class classical concerts to nightclubs offering every other genre. For the morning after, enjoy the rich history of Prague’s classical cafe tradition, with excellent coffee and cake.
